St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands — The Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center (JFL) is proud to announce the appointment of Mrs. Adeline Williams-Connor as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Mrs. Williams-Connor brings more than 40 years of experience in healthcare leadership and operations, with a distinguished career grounded in clinical excellence, quality assurance, education, and system-wide transformation. A native of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, she has been a longstanding advocate for improving healthcare across the territory and the region.

Her extensive career includes senior leadership roles such as Director of Nursing Services, Vice President, Hospital Administrator, Performance Improvement Officer, Clinical Risk Manager, and Emergency Management Coordinator. She has played a central role in regaining CMS certification, achieving Joint Commission accreditation, and establishing programs to support clinical training and professional development.

Mrs. Williams-Connor’s impact extends beyond the Virgin Islands. She has collaborated with healthcare systems in Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands, Bermuda, and several states in the U.S., including Utah and Florida.
