Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center (JFL) is a 52-bed, semi-autonomous healthcare institution dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality, and equitable care to the residents and visitors of St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands. As the island’s sole acute care hospital, JFL serves as a critical healthcare resource, operating through a unique partnership of public support and independent governance to meet the evolving needs of our community.
Founded in 1982, JFL offers a comprehensive range of services, including acute inpatient care, emergency medicine, surgery, diagnostic imaging, women’s health, outpatient services, and neonatal intensive care. Guided by our mission to place people at the center of all we do, we are committed to advancing health outcomes, fostering innovation, and delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
