Titus, MD, FACS, who has been selected as an honored member of the Nationwide Registries Top Doctors of America 2025. A Legacy of Excellence
A proud native of St. Croix and graduate of St. Croix Central High School, Dr. Titus’s journey is deeply rooted in the Virgin Islands. From graduating as salutatorian of his class to advancing research at Baxter Laboratories that contributed to the development of the test for Hepatitis B, his career has been defined by excellence and innovation.
After earning his medical degree with research distinction from the University of Miami, Dr. Titus trained extensively in general and pediatric surgery, later serving in leadership roles at hospitals in Florida before returning home in 2010. Since then, he has provided world-class surgical care right here at JFL, earning the respect of both peers and patients.
A Surgeon with Compassion
Dr. Titus is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is well-known for his minimally invasive surgical expertise, including laparoscopic and Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS). But beyond his technical skill, Dr. Titus provides “Surgical Care with Compassion”, a value that speaks directly to the unique needs of our Virgin Islands community.
