The Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center intends to request assistance from the U.S. Department of Defense under the Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program. The proposed project will involve National Guard medical personnel providing additional support to enhance medical services for the residents of St. Croix. This effort will increase the hospital’s capacity to serve the community.
The project is anticipated to take place during the 2026 calendar year.
Local contractors, labor union organizations, or private individuals who have questions about, or who wish to express opposition to, the Department of Defense’s participation in this project may contact the Human Resources Department no later than three (3) days after the date of publication of this notice.
Individuals who do not submit comments within the timeframe noted will be considered to have waived any objections to the participation of the Department of Defense in this project.
