Our Laboratory & Pathology services provide essential diagnostic testing and analysis to help physicians detect, diagnose, monitor, and treat a wide range of medical conditions. Our laboratory professionals work closely with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to provide accurate and timely information that supports patient care and treatment decisions. Laboratory services are available to both inpatients and outpatients, while Pathology services primarily support inpatient care, surgical procedures, and other hospital-based services.

Laboratory Services

  • Blood Gas Testing – Measures oxygen, carbon dioxide, and pH levels in the blood to help evaluate respiratory and metabolic function.
  • Chemistry & Special Chemistry – Analyzes substances in blood, serum, plasma, urine, and other body fluids to help assess organ function, monitor medical conditions, and support diagnosis.
  • Coagulation Testing – Evaluates the blood’s ability to clot and may be used to investigate bleeding or clotting disorders and monitor certain treatments.
  • Hematology – Examines blood cells and their components to help detect and monitor conditions such as anemia, infection, leukemia, and other blood-related disorders.
  • Microbiology – Identifies microorganisms that may be causing infection and can help determine appropriate antimicrobial treatment.
  • Therapeutic Drug Monitoring – Measures levels of certain medications in the blood to help physicians determine whether drug concentrations are within an appropriate therapeutic range.
  • Transfusion Services – Provides blood typing, antibody identification, compatibility testing, and cross-matching for patients who require blood transfusions.
  • Urinalysis & Clinical Microscopy – Examines urine and other body fluids for chemical and cellular components that can assist in diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions.

what to expect

Some laboratory tests require special preparation, such as fasting, medication instructions, or testing at a specific time of day. Preparation requirements vary depending on the test being performed. Please follow all instructions provided by your physician or the Laboratory before your visit. When you arrive, you may be asked to provide identification, your physician's order, insurance information, and other necessary documentation. Our laboratory team will guide you through the collection process and answer questions you may have about preparing for your test.

scheduling & referrals

Outpatient laboratory testing may require a physician’s order. Patients should bring their physician’s order and any other requested documentation to their visit.
