Conversations on Care Townhall: Know Before You GO – Understanding the ER Process

Join us for the next Conversations on Care: Community Dialogue with JFL for an inside look at the emergency care experience at JFL. We’ll walk through the patient journey—from arrival and registration to triage, evaluation, testing, treatment, and discharge—and explain how departments across the hospital work together to support your care.
Representatives from the Emergency Department, Registration, Laboratory, Radiology, and other supporting organizations will be part of the conversation, offering a more holistic look at what happens behind the scenes during an ER visit.
We’ll also discuss an important question: Where should you go when you need care? Learn more about the difference between urgent and emergent medical needs, when the Emergency Department is appropriate, and what other care options may be available.
Bring your questions and hear directly from the JFL team about the people, processes, and services involved in your care.
Wednesday, October 7, 2026 | 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
